New Year, New Hues!
Ring in 2014 with our 15 new nail lacquers!
We are welcoming the new additions to our core shade selection with open arms and freshly prepped nail beds as this refresh of our color range is a bit overdue. While some of our sheer and shimmery classic shades are still best sellers, we wanted to give you ladies an even broader range of lacquer to play with!
“Maintaining manicures is a New Year’s resolution you will enjoy sticking to! Perfectly painted nails are one of the best accessories any fashionista can have,” explains Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, OPI’s Executive VP & Artistic Director (a.k.a. our resident color and trend expert.)
Our 15 new lacquers range in color from iridescent emerald to bone white. There are creamy brights, pastels and neutrals (with insanely good coverage), metallic duo-tones and bold confetti glitters.
With these highly pigmented lacquers it’s easy to add the finishing touch to any look!
“I wanted to give our girls options so they can truly express their personality with these shades, whether they change up hues often or mix and match to create fun nail designs,” says Suzi.
First up, the greens. We are loving the come back of these sea-inspired duo-tone shades as well as our go-to springtime favorite: I Shop Mintage!Ok. Does anyone spy the most shocking shade in this bunch? Let’s just say we have been DYYYIINNGGGG for some Yoga-then-yogurt! Finally the prefect bone white for nail art and the occasional I-just-stepped-off-a-ship-in-Santorini mani/pedis! Next up, the pinks! This salmon shade has a subtle shimmer to it and a slightly sheer formula. If we had to use one more word that started with “s” to describe it, it would be SUPER! Hmm… maybe sexy. Sorry – we’re just being silly. Hehe!
Lastly, we have these glitters! The diamond-shaped confetti in a mish-mosh of shades makes for the most INSANE nail art. You can add single confetti pieces to the cuticle line for a simple look – or tile them over entire nails for some serious bling! We can’t wait to see the manis you create with this one!
So, there you have it: a new year and some new hues. Which will you be hunting down first? Do you already have a few? Any you’re unsure about? Tell us on Facebook, Twitter or in the comments below!! :)
